David Cook is a proud Badtjala, Anglo and South Sea Islander Australian storyteller and multidisciplinary filmmaker. He is the founder of New Dream Productions, a growing creative studio working across documentary, screen content and organisational storytelling.

Beginning his career as an actor, David quickly expanded into writing, directing and producing, developing a hands-on approach to stroytelling that spans the full production process. Working across producing, directing, cinematography and post-production, he leads projects from concept through to final delivery, ensuring a clear creative vision and a streamlined production process.

Through New Dream Productions, David partners with organisations, businesses and cultural institutions to develop and craft powerful narratives that resonate with audiences.

Driven by a deep commitment to First Nations storytelling and authentic representation, David approaches each project with care, collaboration and a strong sense of purpose. The result is content that not only informs, but builds trust, engagement and lasting impact.
